Pickle Surprise via @MartinSargent

If you can figure out what is going on here, please let me know because I am throughly confused.

Pickle Surprise

If you ever pay attention to my rants and raves, you know one of my main problems with my Windows Mobile based phone is the lack of decent applications. Both the iPhone and Android-based devices have a centralized “App Store”, and there seems to be a metric shit ton of active development for both platforms. Microsoft is rolling out their “Mobile Marketplace” tomorrow, but I feel like it will be too little too late.

There are some decent applications that I have found, with the largest range being in twitter clients. I was having some problems with my phone constantly hard reseting lately, and in doing research I came across a new twitter client for Windows Mobile, and so far it has been great.

moTweet from Panoramic is a really smooth application. The interface looks really nice, however, I did have some trouble figuring out where everything was. After a few minutes of poking around in the app, I was able to find most of the features I was looking for.

They have two versions of the app, one for free (with add support) and a $4 version. I went with the free version, since I am rather cheap. The client can also handle multiple accounts and comes with a variety of skins.

If you are like me and not cool enough to own an iPhone or Android based device, you should check out moTweet.

If you are in Cincinnati and haven’t been to an OTRTweetup yet, then you are missing things that could only be described as “The Bee’s Knees”. Have you ever seen the knees of a bee? They are mind-blowing!

These meetups are a great time where you get to meet some of the most interesting and vivacious people in Cincinnati. To your left, you will see a thing to RSVP with. Click the appropriate button and it will generate the hoops you need to jump through (at last check, hoop count was holding steady at zero). While I am sure you are heartbroken to hear that I will not be able to make it, you should still go.

There have been a few times now where people have commented that my photo on Twitter has confused them. I can see how something that full of awesome could be difficult to wrap your head around (and really, is there anything more awesome than Ron Jeremy dressed up like Mario?).

I am looking to my fellow Twitterati (tweeple?) to help me out. I have been in extra goofy mode recently, and snapped off a few possible pics to use. Leave a comment below and let me know which one you think would be fitting.

If your head hasn’t been under a proverbial rock, you have heard Cincinnati residents talking about the OTRTweetup that is happening this Thursday, November 20th. However, for those of you that like to keep your head under some nice terra firma, here are the details: (taken from Kate’s Random Musings)

Are you on Twitter?

Would you like to meet your local Twitter friends?

Come to Greater Cincinnati’s first tweet-up at Over-the-Rhine’s Below Zero Lounge at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 20.

It’s a great way for you to put a face to a name, and talk to your Tweeple/Twitterites/Twitterverse in more than 140 characters.

No need to come looking like your avatar…

So show up, meet the cool Twitterati from Cincinnati, and have a few drinks. Please make sure to leave a comment on Kate’s blog so she can have a rough head count.
