Aww Dip

MySpace is sort of the bane of my existence. For some reason, all it fosters is flashing GIFs and music that plays on page load. Any sort of attempt to change the actual layout of the page to be usable and decent is an exercise in futility. This has been a little thought that has been bugging me for a while now…  I spend pretty much all of my time plugged in to this web, a web that stretches world wide, and there are some “celebrities” who I have pretty much never heard of.

The most recent one to come to mind was iJustine.  All I know about her is that she has a station on justin.tv, and that is it. I have no idea why she is the 15th most followed person on Twitter. A discussion today started on the idea of branding cereal with iTunes.  The idea made a lot of sense to me, since there are a wide variety of ways available to marry physical items with the ethereal digital realm… The trick is not confusing your consumers in the process.
